Description
The mission for this role is to achieve customer satisfaction and deliver increasing value to our customers by developing new products
and enhancing existing products to meet customer’s requirement of technology, quality and cost.
Work closely with different department to develop new products and enhance existing products to meet customer specifications
Ability to drive cross functional team to achieve the required results in terms of quality, cost and technology
Implementation of the Product Development Process (PDP).
Leads the technical product development team to develop new products and the integration of those products into the products of each customer. Key projects include but not limited to common rail fuel system, steel ring, star/stop starts, twin cylinder compressors, etc.
Assess new technologies to enable the company to enhance existing products and develop new products using such technologies.
Ability to interpret technology and market trends as a foundation for technology and product roadmaps.
Requirements
Degree/Master/PHD in Electronic/Electrical/Mechanical engineering.
At least 20 years in engineering (product design, validation, application), with 5 in an executive-level position.
Experienced and knowledgeable in the field of diesel fuel injection and power cylinder systems for commercial vehicles.
Knowledge and understanding on China heavy duty market and its trends.
Successful record of developing products for engine markets.
Able to communications fluently in English and Chinese.
